Foundation who designed and built the amazing $35 Raspberry Pi
Computer. Have today announced that the first shipments of their mini PC
have now been certified and shipping out to RS Electronics and
element14/Premier Farnell.
Customers waiting to get their hands on one, myself included, should start receiving notifications from RS Electronics and element14/Premier Farnell announcing the very first Raspberry Pi Computers will be shipping over the weekend.
All distributors have said that they will be shipping the first batches of new Raspberry Pi computers in the order reservations were made, so some of us might still have a little time to wait. Fingers crossed.
After this initial batch has been shipped both RS Electronics and element14/Premier Farnell will be handling the manufacturing and shipping themselves, which will hopefully help get them into the hands of waiting customers even quicker.
